Exploring the true potential of the neurodiverse minds

Perform Unbound helps businesses, outdoor organisations and individuals better understand neurodiversity — to support our different ways of thinking and processing, alongside our strengths. Led by Scotty Cornish: physiotherapist, coach, endurance athlete, and proudly AuADHD.

About Perform Unbound

Built on lived experience

Perform Unbound is an inclusive platform that helps people understand and reframe their challenges and their strengths, and educates the wider community as we go.

Neurodiversity gets oversimplified, often as a “spectrum”, when it’s really complex, multidimensional and deeply personal — especially for those of us with a combined neurotype like AuADHD. It isn’t a disorder; it’s a different way of processing the world. Recognising that we learn, communicate and perform differently is how you build genuinely inclusive teams, workplaces and products. Adventure sport runs through it all: a way to grow focus, confidence, self-belief and a real sense of belonging.

The shift

“I can’t”becomes“how can I?”

Neurodiversity is an umbrella term — dyslexia, ADHD, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, and autism. It’s estimated that 1 in 7 people are neurodiverse.

A diagnosis isn’t about a label. It’s about self-understanding — recognising the strengths, alongside the daily challenges. The more we understand, the more we reduce stigma, misconceptions, exclusion and allow individuals to flourish, at work and in life.

Recognising that neurodiverse individuals process, learn, communicate, and perform in different ways, enables building more inclusive workplaces and communities and can positively affect product development and user interaction.
